The West Midlands resort has outlined the commercial impact of its largest redevelopment programme, including improved event space utilisation, increased accommodation revenue and stronger demand for longer leisure stays.

The investment almost doubled the size of the resort, introducing 149 additional bedrooms, the 852 sq m Masters Suite and The Club, a new fitness and wellness facility.

The development increased bedroom capacity by more than 46% and event space by 43%, enabling The Belfry to accommodate larger conferences, corporate events and leisure groups.

According to the resort, occupancy in The Masters Suite has reached 70% for the year to date, with revenue per square metre increasing by 8%.

The venue has hosted events for organisations including the Meetings Industry Association, beam and Teams Europe, alongside hospitality programmes associated with the DP World Tour and British Masters.
