Blind Tiger Inns Invests £150,000 in The Lord Rodney Pub in Warrington
Blind Tiger Inns is preparing to reopen The Lord Rodney in Warrington following a £150,000 refurbishment, marking the Chorley-based pub operator’s first expansion into the town.

Formerly operating as The Rodney, the town centre pub will return to its traditional name when it reopens on Friday 30 October 2026, following extensive improvements to its interior, exterior and entertainment facilities.
The acquisition brings Blind Tiger Inns’ estate to 24 venues and marks its second leased site in partnership with Trust Inns, following the opening of The Castle in Clitheroe.
Located opposite Warrington Wolves’ Halliwell Jones Stadium, The Lord Rodney is undergoing a refurbishment designed to modernise the pub while retaining its historic character and established connections with the local community.
The £150,000 investment includes a complete overhaul of the main bar, new furnishings and reupholstered seating throughout the venue.
Entertainment facilities are also being expanded, with the installation of two interactive Smart Darts lanes, a contactless pool table and additional high-definition television screens for live sports coverage.
